Do I need to be home during the clean?

Not at all. Many of our regulars give us a key or use a smart lock. Every Joya cleaner is vetted, trained, and fully insured, so you can hand over the keys and get on with your day.

Do you bring your own products and equipment?

Yes, we bring everything we need as standard. If you have your own products and equipment you would prefer us to use, that is easier still and absolutely fine. Just let us know when you book.

How does payment work?

Full payment is taken upfront via bank transfer to secure your booking. No cash is needed.

What areas of London do you cover?

We cover North London and surrounding areas, with particularly strong coverage in Highgate, Muswell Hill, Finchley, Whetstone, Totteridge, Southgate, Barnet and Crouch End.

What are your opening hours?

We operate seven days a week, Monday to Sunday, 8am to 7pm.

How regular cleaning usually starts: most homes begin with a one-off deep clean to reach a strong baseline, then move onto ongoing weekly or fortnightly maintenance cleans to keep it that way.

Added time - £25 per labour hour for any work beyond the agreed scope or estimated time. We'll always confirm with you before continuing.

Anything from the list above can be added to your booking for an additional fee - just ask when you get your quote.

Specialist work — carpet, sofa & upholstery, rug, exterior window, patio & driveway jet washing and gutter cleaning — is carried out by us or a trusted partner and quoted separately. Send a WhatsApp video or photo of the area (07727 633201) for a price.

Regular Cleaning is designed to maintain a property that is already in a reasonably clean condition. Properties requiring extensive build-up removal, deep sanitisation, mould treatment, or detailed cleaning may require a Deep Clean service instead.

Pricing

Pricing depends on size and condition.

Every property is individually quoted. Send us your instant estimate together with your full address and we’ll confirm a fixed price before booking. Photos or a short video are welcome if you’d like us to review anything, but they’re optional. We will then:

During the clean, if the property takes longer than estimated because the condition is worse than shown in the video, we will continue and charge £25 per labour hour after the estimated time has been exceeded. We'll let you know before continuing where possible.

Safe access

All services are carried out subject to safe access. We clean all reasonably accessible areas as part of the booked service.
Areas that cannot be safely reached without specialist access equipment (such as high ceilings, double-height walls, high internal windows, light fittings, or other inaccessible areas) are excluded unless agreed in advance.
Wall wiping: all accessible painted walls are wiped down using appropriate cleaning methods. Areas that cannot be safely reached without specialist access equipment are excluded.

Every regular customer starts with an initial deep clean. This one-off deep clean brings your home up to the Joya standard so your ongoing visits start from a strong baseline.
About two weeks later, we complete your first maintenance clean. Your regular cleaner returns to keep the home to standard.
We assess how the property has been maintained. Homes differ — some need a little upkeep, others more. We look at how the property held up between visits.
We recommend weekly or fortnightly cleaning. Based on that assessment, we suggest the schedule that keeps your home consistently clean without paying for more than you need.
We set a fixed ongoing price. You then get a fixed price for each ongoing visit, based on the maintenance your home actually requires.
